instead of using shoe goo do u think i would be able to use hot glue from a glue gun. or would it be to weak

Depends on how hard you want to run it. If you want a serious, no **** ghillie that can take what you dish out, shoe goo the netting and sew it down. It takes a lot of time, but it will be worth it, and you will be glad you did. You do not have to sew or even shoe goo down ALL the knots, just the perimeter knots and some of the interior knots. Also, shoe goo down the skids, then sew them, then shoe goo the knots and the edge of the skids. You will learn to hate sewing, but your suit will be extremely strong and will last.
